Dropbox is an emerging technology that I like. I had the opportunity to use this in a classroom setting and love it. I put files that I am working on at home in it and when I get to school I can access the files from any computer. I was able to share the file with a teacher and a friend to collaborate with them. This site will be useful for class activities because you can prepare at home and not have to carry your personal computer around or keep up with a jump drive to continue a project or use it in another location. I love dropbox, it has been a great way to have a back up for your documents that you have on a jump drive. It is a great tool for sharing documents, pictures, and other things with friends. I agree with you Kandra that dropbox would be useful for class activities, because you can prepare them anywhere and still be able to bring up your documents in dropbox. It is also easy to get to on your computer because you can put it right on your desktop and you don't have to be on the internet to get your files.
ReplyDeleteI also chose DropBox for my thing 6! I love being able to access it anywhere and not having to worry about having my flash drive with me (because I usually don't). Well done! :D
